DAY 1: MARRAKECH - AGOUTI

We at Morocco Epic Trails, we focus on small groups and personal experience with a team of experienced guides for your Atlas Mountains trekking experience. Embark on an extraordinary Marrakech trekking adventure as we depart from your hotel towards Agouti. Relax and unwind at the guesthouse, enjoying a delightful dinner as we prepare for the days ahead.

DAY 2: AGOUTI TO AROUS

Set off on a captivating day of trekking, immersing ourselves in the rugged beauty of the landscape. Our journey takes us to the Aarous camp, where we spend a memorable night under the stars.

DAY 3: TREK TO TARKEDIT PLATEAU

Embark on a challenging ascent through a wild landscape, crossing the Aghouri pass at 3,450m before reaching the wind-eroded and snow-covered High plateau of Tarkedit (2,900m). After a lunch break, we climb to the southern side of the plateau, establishing a camp at 3,400m beneath the majestic M'goun West (3,978m). Revel in the breathtaking views and spend the night at the camp.

DAY 4: ASCENT OF DJEBEL M'GOUN (4,068M) TO OULILIMT

Today marks the highlight of our adventure as we ascend to the summit of Djebel M'goun. The climb follows a long ridge, typically taking 4 to 5 hours to reach the summit, depending on snow conditions. From the top, be captivated by the impressive vistas across the Draa Valley and towards the Sahara Desert in the south. Descending back to Azib Izabine, we rest at the camp after an exhilarating 8-9 hours journey.

DAY 5: ATLAS TREKKING

Embark on a scenic trek down the valley towards Ain Aflafal and onward to Tighermet n Ait Ahmed. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Atlas Mountains during this approximately 5-hour walk. Spend the night in the camp, cherishing the tranquility of the surroundings.

DAY 6: BACK TO MARRAKECH

Climb Tizi n'Ait Imi (2960m) before a long descent to Ait Bougmez Valley, followed by a drive back to Marrakech. Our guided Marrakech to Atlas Mountains trek with an experienced travel company concludes as we transfer you to your hotel in Imlil, Marrakech, or the airport.
