DAY 1: MARRAKECH - IMLIL - TOUBKAL REFUGE

Enjoy a scenic drive southward, passing through picturesque landscapes, gorges, and high passes of the upper valleys.

Arrive at the Berber town of Imlil, located 5700 feet above sea level (1740m). Here, you'll leave your vehicle and be welcomed with a refreshing glass of traditional mint tea at a staging house.

Embark on a 2.5-mile (4 km) hike through several charming Berber villages, including Armed and Sidi Chamharouchin, situated in the Assif Ait Maizane Valley. Take time for sightseeing and interacting with the locals. Explore the beautiful Sidi Chamharouchin village, known for its picturesque waterfall and small stream.

Break for a delightful picnic with awe-inspiring views of Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in the Maghreb, towering at over 13,600 feet (4167m). Continue your trek to the Toubkal Refuge, located at an elevation of 10,500 feet (3207m), where you'll spend the night in comfortable accommodations amidst the stunning surroundings.

DAY 2: TOUBKAL REFUGE - MT TOUBKAL SUMMIT - TOUBKAL REFUGE

Start your day with an early breakfast before commencing your ascent of Mount Toubkal, the crown jewel of the Atlas Mountains. Climb to the summit, standing at an impressive height of over 13,600 feet (4167m). At the top, soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and savor the sense of accomplishment.

Begin your descent via the south circuit, which offers a straightforward 2-3 hour route back to the Toubkal Refuge. After a rewarding day of trekking, you'll have the afternoon to relax and rejuvenate at the refuge, enjoying the serene atmosphere and beautiful mountain vistas.

Descend further to Imlil, where you'll be picked up for the drive back to Marrakech.
